Wintercity

Yesterday we went to the week-long celebration of Wintercity , in Nathan Phillips Square. That night's shows were a vertical dance number by the company les passagers based on Chinese culture, and a performance by the «flaming lotus girls» which did not actually include any lotus girls, but big metal structures that burst fire in time to music. There also where amazing firworks by Circus Orange. The town hall realy looked like an erupting volcano with flames spurting in all directions. I am still frozen as I type this, but luckely I have my christmas tea set waiting!

I would like to see Les Passagers, that looked like it must have been incredible.

We are gearing up for Chinese New Year here, the decorations have started coming out. There are Tiger's everywhere. Pierre and I are going to Vietnam for the school break and will be experiencing TET there.

Do you need more tea? I will go this weekend and choose some new flavours for you to send soon. So think of me on Saturday sitting in a tea shop sipping out of little cups, because I will be thinking of you then too!

Un gros spectacle! Ca réchauffe l’esprit mais pas le corps. Seulement un bon thé peu faire cela.
